Counselling service
Life doesn’t always go as planned. Whether you’re facing stress, loss, anxiety, low mood, or relationship challenges, it helps to talk. A counselling service gives you a safe, supportive space to explore what you’re feeling with someone who’s trained to listen.
At PLE Health, our counselling service is open to individuals, couples, and families who want help making sense of what’s going on and finding a way forward. You don’t need a diagnosis or referral - just a willingness to talk.
What is counselling?
Counselling is a form of talking therapy that helps you explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a supportive and confidential setting. It can help you better understand yourself, cope with emotional pain, and make decisions with more clarity.
Counselling is often used for:
Anxiety and stress
Depression or low mood
Relationship or family problems
Grief and loss
Trauma or difficult past experiences
Confidence, self-worth, or identity issues
Coping with life changes, health problems, or uncertainty
You don’t need to be in crisis to seek counselling. Many people use it to reflect, reset, or build resilience.

How our counselling service works
At PLE Health, we tailor counselling to your needs. You’ll be matched with a qualified therapist based on what you’re looking for—whether that’s emotional support, problem-solving, or a space to process things at your own pace.
You can choose:
Individual counselling – for personal struggles or emotional wellbeing
Couples counselling – to improve communication or work through challenges together
Online or in-person sessions – at a time that suits your schedule
Each session takes place weekly or fortnightly, depending on what works best for you.
